● Exhibition overview
In these days of rapid change, as people's demand grows, their profession is subdivided and design becomes very familiar to us. But what is "design" ... what is it?
It is often said that "design solves problems", but of course it is not the only design. There are countless "designs" in the world, such as problem-solving design that improves social deficiencies, problem-raising design that highlights social problems, and communication design that designs relationships between people. It's overflowing.
However, if there is only a certain recipe in the design, such as some equation or cooking method, the world will probably be quite dull. We do not call the act of sublimating and modeling the pure impressions that naturally emerge from life and experience, and the knowledge gained from those observations, in various forms at a higher level. Is it?
External knowledge and trends that change with the times are very important for measuring the position and evaluation of modern design more calmly and analytically, but the most important core is lies. It's a truly moving experience within you.
Ah! The surprising inspiration is unexpectedly lying in a familiar place.
At SUTTEN, we will expose our "elementary" self, who is in the pursuit of liking.
