What is the Comite Colbert Award?
Colbert Committee Japan and Tokyo University of the Arts will hold a joint project "Comite Colbert Award 2019-Reiwa: A New Era-" with the aim of fostering future culture and artists. Students of Tokyo University of the Arts create art works under the theme of "Reiwa" in the new era. Twelve works were selected in the first round of judging held on September 11. And at the award ceremony on November 8th, 3 excellent works were decided. What will Japan be like in the new era of Reiwa? Will things from Showa and Heisei be inherited? Or will it change? From this point of view, Tokyo University of the Arts expresses "Reiwa" with their own sensibilities. Please take a look.
